This is a new compilation to download in mp3 format. It is approximately 79 minutes of some of the best erotica film music from European movies circa 1969 to 1979. More common tracks are mixed with several rarities. Some really cool and beautiful music here. The download links are in the comments. Enjoy!

GIALLO MOODS: MUSIC FOR MURDER!
My good buddy Brian Horrorwitz over at Takin IN the Trash: The Trash Palace Blog had a hand in compiling this 3 volume fan made collection of the very best from the Giallo movie soundtracks.

If you have an interest in this kind of thing you will love these! In Horrorwitz's words:
A lot of my friends know how obsessed I am with Giallo movies. Not just the films but the soundtracks too. Well about 10 years ago I started planning a CD compilation of the very best tracks from the scores to these modern Italian thrillers. Then I kind of shelved the idea when the once rare and unreleased soundtracks started getting released in droves because I just couldn't keep up with them all and I wanted to be thorough. So recently I decided to go back and finish the compilation and, with the help of a few friends, it ended up being 3 CDs, each just under 80 minutes!

Each volume fits perfectly onto 1 blank CD-R disc, or you can save them as mp3 files and play them from your hard drive or ipod player. I would recommend checking the 1st volume out first to see if you dig it. The first 2 volumes contain my all time favorite themes and cues, mostly from the late '60s and '70s, by composers such as Ennio Morricone, Bruno Nicolai, Goblin and many others. The 3rd volume contains some of the more upbeat pop, rock and r&b songs from the Giallo party and club scenes! There are several rare and unreleased tracks and some real obscurities amongst the more well known composers. Enjoy!
Each file contains the cover art and track listings. The download links are in the comments. The good doctor sez: Dig it, baby!

ELECTRIC LARRY'S FUNKTASMIC FREAK-OUT FESTIVAL CD

Here is an exclusive: The self-proclaimed "ultimate party CD" from mix-master Electric Larry! Not sure who this "Electric Larry" is but the back cover credits "technical assistance" to Brian D. Horrorwitz so I have my suspicions! What we have is an album length (44 minute) almost continuous groove that mixes some classic funky tunes - some obscure and some not so obscure - of different varieties and eras (but mostly 1970s) and slices, dices, re-arranges and adds some wacked-out and unexpected samples to the beats. This would actually make a great CD to play at a dance party and, since there are some "naughty" samples it will definitely clear out the riff-raff.

SERGE GAINSBOURG: FRANCE'S SECRET VICE (1992)
From my good buddy Monsewer Brian Horrorwitz at Trash Palace by way of his video archivist pal Shabby comes this interesting and entertaining 1992 documentary on Serge Gainsbourg. Interesting because it's one of the very few docs done on Gainsbourg in the English language. Unfortunately there are some video glitches throughout but they aren't horribly obtrusive. Like Horrorwitz I too wish they'd have focused a bit more on his music and less on his shenanigans but considering they had quite a bit of ground to cover in only 25 minutes we can forgive them. Amusez-vous!
